Having successfully passed a smoke test last week, this doorset has now passed an FD60 fire test with flying colours – giving a significant overrun beyond 60 minutes, and with no need for a cotton pad test to be carried out until past 60 minutes!
This is an excellent result for SDS, giving us a substantial amount of additional ‘industry first’, test data, to further increase our portfolio of primary fire test evidence. These results include larger vision panels, larger sidescreens, and the renowned LED Priviglaze+ combined vision panel and warning light.
