The introduction of Assuredoor, a configurable range of laminate, veneer, and paint-grade doorsets designed for low-impact traffic areas, marks the latest stage in the evolution of the SDS product portfolio.

By expanding its product ranges under a single, coordinated offer, SDS is making specification simpler and more consistent for architects, contractors, and healthcare providers. The result is a comprehensive portfolio that ensures the right door can be specified for the right application, with confidence, compliance, and consistency across every project.

SDS’s full doorset range now includes:

• Dfendoor – SDS’s high-performance PVC post-formed doorsets, designed for medium and high-impact traffic areas, is suitable for most healthcare environments, where durability and infection control are critical.
• Shieldoor – PVC post-formed doorsets with lead-lining designed for clinical areas and theatres where radiation shielding is required.
• Clariglide – Aluminium-framed sliding doorset solution designed for clinical environments where patient observation is key or traditional swing-door systems are impractical.
• Assuredoor – Fully configurable laminate, veneer or paint-grade doorsets designed for low-impact traffic areas.

Enhanced colour range.

As part of ongoing enhancements to the SDS product portfolio, we are also pleased to announce the expansion of our Dfend PVC colour range.

The updated palette introduces 12 new colours to the standard Dfend PVC range, giving specifiers and designers access to over 35 standard colours and woodgrain-effect finishes. This extended choice allows for even greater design flexibility and consistency across projects.

To support a cohesive aesthetic across healthcare environments, SDS has also carefully selected a complementary range of laminate colours that align with the Dfend PVC post-formed range. This alignment makes it simple to achieve a uniform look throughout an entire hospital estate. For bespoke schemes, any colour from the Formica® laminate range can also be specified.
