About the project.

The New National Hospital St John represents a significant investment in Montserrat's future healthcare provision. Following the devastating volcanic eruption that destroyed the island's capital in 1995, healthcare services had been operating from a former primary school. The new 57,000 sq ft, 25-bed hospital is designed to provide a full range of healthcare services within a resilient facility capable of withstanding hurricanes and earthquakes.

SDS is supplying a complete specialist doorset package, working alongside the project team to coordinate production, logistics and delivery across international borders while maintaining the high standards required for a modern NHS healthcare environment.
