SDS played a key role in the modernisation and refurbishment of the operating theatres at a Private Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, owned by Circle Health Group. The project focused on upgrading the clinical environment with high-performance, lead-lined doorsets designed to meet the stringent demands of surgical spaces.
About the project.
To minimise disruption to surgical services, the refurbishment, including removal of existing doors, installation and commissioning, was carried out across multiple weekends, enabling the hospital to maintain its clinical schedule with limited downtime.
The project required bespoke radiation-protection solutions, integrated warning systems and durable finishes capable of withstanding the demands of a high-traffic operating environment.
