The SDS Lamdoor plugs the gap between a traditional Laminate faced door and a Dfendoor, offering a long-lasting yet commercially viable alternative to its overrated counterpart typically found in many hospital and healthcare environments which are quite simply too challenging for it!
Combining high damage-resilience, a range of attractive, fade-free colours and finishes and ultra-low maintenance requirements, SDS Lamdoor is the perfect fire safety compliant doorset for the less demanding healthcare environments.
SDS Lamdoor range is available in a range of glazing and colour choices, door leaf size options, and can be customised with items such as edge protectors and kickplates.

Lamdoor Double Swing Ambulant WC Door Systems
The LSDA & LUDA Door Systems are designed specifically for inward opening Ambulant WCs. These systems are designed to allow the door to swing outwards in the event of a patient falling or requiring assistance. An inward opening door would often restrict this from being possible, so the option to open the door outwards is extremely critical, as outlined in Building Regulations Approved Document M.

They are hung on pivots and are designed to open in both directions – typically to facilitate fire escape routes.

DFend Colours - SDS Lamdoor Range
Lamdoor is available in a range of standard Colours and Finishes. Colours and Finishes are represented below, however it is not possible to achieve a 100% match on the website due to screen variations, we have therefore included the closest RAL colour as a guide. Before placing an order, we will send you a sample of your chosen colour for pre-production sign-off.
